I know it seems early, but today I ordered the potatoes. Bill made the raised beds last fall and we are adding a bed since we ran out of potatoes to sell in early September last year.
Some of the new varieties for this year are Sieglinde, Crackled Butterball and Kipfel Fingerling. We will also have some of our favorites – Austrian Crescent and LaRatte fingerlings, Purple Viking, Red Gold, Desiree, Maris Piper, Nicola, Carola, King Edward and Katahdin. And, believe it or not, this is fewer varieties than we grew last year. Clearly, I have a potato addiction!
